Rogers College of Law offers two Master`s programs in International Trade and Business Law and Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy. Now in its 19th year, the International Trade and Business Law program offers a rigorous curriculum and training for lawyers, academics and government officials seeking a legal career. Topics covered include international trade law, international business transactions, investment law and trade associations. Small class groups (a dozen or less per year) ensure close working relationships with teachers. Now in its 13th year, the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program aims to prepare lawyers for the unique and challenging challenges facing legal reform and policy development in the area of Indigenous peoples` rights in the twenty-first century. In most jurisdictions, a JD from an accredited law school is required to pass the bar exam and/or obtain a license from the bar to practice as a lawyer.
