The USASF is strengthening its safety rules and policies by certifying coaches to ensure that cheer coaches are able to teach the advancement of appropriate skills and certification of security judges, providing safety judges with the knowledge and resources to enforce safety rules during competition. USASF rules, divisions and categories create a safe, consistent and fair platform for athletes to cheer and dance at All Star events and exercises. Safety, followed by skill progression and fair play, is a top priority when establishing or adjusting rules or policies. The USASF also establishes best practice guidelines in areas of All Star that are not directly related to safety rules, but are important to the integrity of the sport. 5) There is no maximum number of crossover athletes allowed in international divisions. 6) Athletes participating in an All Star Preparatory Division or a Novice Division are not bound by the crossing rules listed above, but cannot be transferred to an All Star Elite Division. 3) Athletes competing in one international division are not allowed to transfer to another international division. 2) Athletes competing in a standard USASF division may only move to an international division if that division is of the same, higher or lower level (for example, L2 may advance to L1, L2 or L3). 1) Athletes participating in a USASF standard division may only transfer to another USASF standard division within the same level. 4) In USASF standard divisions, a maximum of eight (8) cross-athletes per team is allowed. 2023 Level Eligibility Policy All teams must compete at their legitimate level. Teams that move down before the NCA National Championships may do so as long as they have competed in a USASF competition prior to the NCA National Championships at least once in their new level. It was the first time since the pandemic began in 2020 that the event was held in person. There`s no stage like the arena stage, and it was a great show of the best cheerleading scene in the world. The NCA All Star Nationals were held in Dallas, Texas from February 25-27, 2022. The NCA National Championships are often considered the most prestigious regular season event for cheerleading All-Star. It`s also the biggest cheerleading event in the world, and the 2022 event was the biggest ever. Nearly 200 cheerleading Worlds teams participated in this year`s event, in every division offered to U.S. teams at the World Cheerleading Championships.
That`s a lot of teams! That`s a lot of divisions! If a team`s eligibility is challenged by another program, the NCA will request documentation of that team`s participation in a previous event. Despite the highest score, teams that are not teams that are not tumbling are not eligible to win the Grand National Champion title.
