The Oregon Dental Association is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in all of our efforts. We believe that these principles foster an innovative and dynamic culture and lead to sustainable results. They enable us to advance the dental profession and promote the highest standards in oral and oral health. Therefore, we serve and support diverse identities, beliefs, perspectives, leaders, employees and collaborators, as well as a variety of communities and organizations. The goal of an inclusive ADO experience is to create comprehensive programs that reflect the diversity of our profession and the communities served. It should aim to involve members and non-members in the affairs of the association; reduce differences in oral health between population groups; Leadership development; diversity education for ODA leaders; and encourage underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds to pursue dental careers.
